Product Strategist & Design Lead |
Architecting End-to-End Watch Ecosystems

I do not merely design timepieces; I architect product ecosystems and brand identities. Operating at the intersection of industrial design, technical engineering, and strategic brand management, I specialize in the development of contemporary horology.

My approach combines aesthetic excellence with a deep understanding of market positioning and industrial scalability. In my current role at Sternglas, I lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our watch collections. My responsibility extends beyond design to the strategic management of the entire product value chain: from initial market analysis and technical blueprinting to global supplier coordination and post-launch performance optimization.

I serve as a pivotal interface, aligning cross-functional teams in marketing, retail, and technical service to ensure a cohesive brand narrative and commercial success. My strategic perspective is reinforced by a rare combination of technical training and academic rigor.

Following my degree in Communication Design, I pursued a watchmaking apprenticeship in Pforzheim to better understand the mechanical complexities of timekeeping instruments. This "bench-side" experience allows me to communicate effectively with engineers and manufacturers, ensuring that design intent is always technically viable.

My academic research further informs my strategic work:

  • Bachelor Thesis: An in-depth exploration of the technology, craftsmanship, and historical design of horological instruments.
  • Master’s Thesis: A study on the psychology of collecting and the cultural/emotional value of timepieces, providing unique insights into consumer behavior and long-term brand loyalty.
I believe that exceptional watches are more than functional tools. They are strategically designed experiences. My mission is to lead the creation of timepieces that resonate emotionally, perform technically, and deliver sustainable value within a competitive global market.
